Healing Habitats LLC

Healing Habitats is a riparian and willow-focused nursery, riparian consulting, and herbal medicine company located in Salt Lick, KY. We specialize in native riparian species that can be propogated via staking methods and we also supply riparian plants and trees that are potted. All of our nursery stock is from KY, with most of it originating in Bath County, KY.

Healing Habitat’s consultation focus is on light touch (i.e. no heavy equipment) restoration of stream and wetland habitats. We specialize in willow restoration techniques for streambank erosion issues while the wetland services focus on creating diverse habitats. We also specialize in consulting on development of riparian food forests and integration of medicinal plants into riparian landscapes.

In addition to the nursery and consulting services, Healing Habitats sells herbal medicine. Healing Habitats herbal medicine is prepared using historical & scientific knowledge of medicinal plants and their healing properties. All herbs used in Healing Habitats medicine are sustainably harvested in Kentucky, or acquired from trusted sources.
